WWE 2K26 MyGM Mode: The Complete Guide

Everything that actually decides a MyGM season — drafting, weekly booking, rivalries, stamina and budget — plus where players lose seasons without realizing it.

Short version: WWE 2K26 MyGM is a management mode where you draft a roster, book a weekly show, and compete against rival GMs for the best brand rating across a season. You win by building rivalries that pay off at Premium Live Events, keeping match quality high, resting your stars before they burn out, and never overspending the draft.

What is WWE 2K26 MyGM mode?

MyGM puts you in charge of a brand as its General Manager. You draft wrestlers, set a weekly show, manage a budget and rivalries, and go head-to-head with one or more rival GMs. At the end of each show the game scores you on match quality, crowd reaction and storyline progress; the GM with the strongest season wins.

It is not a wrestling match mode — you rarely play matches. MyGM is a strategy and booking game. The decisions that matter happen before the bell: who you draft, who you put in a rivalry, which match goes on which week, and who you rest.

How a MyGM season works

A season runs in repeating cycles. Each cycle is a run of weekly shows that builds toward a Premium Live Event (PLE), then resets and builds again. Within every cycle you are doing the same loop:

  1. Build rivalries across several weeks so they peak at the PLE.
  2. Book a balanced card each week — a mix of match types, not the same main event on repeat.
  3. Manage stamina so your top stars are fresh for the matches that matter.
  4. Watch the budget — contracts, signings and stipulations all draw from it.
  5. Pay off at the PLE — the blow-off matches and title changes that bank your biggest ratings.

The single most important idea: a rivalry is worth far more when it is built slowly and paid off at a PLE than when it is rushed. Most lost seasons are lost here.

How to draft a roster that can actually be booked

Drafting is not "pick the biggest stars." A roster of mismatched solo stars is unbookable. Draft for pairs and depth.

  1. Pick a GM and read the power card. Each GM rewards a play style. Draft toward that bonus, not against it.
  2. Take two or three anchors first. High-popularity main-eventers who can each carry a rivalry and headline a PLE.
  3. Draft in role pairs. Every face you draft should have a heel it can feud with. Pairs become rivalries; loners become bench.
  4. Cover every division. Tag teams and a real mid-card let you fill a full card without overworking your top four.
  5. Bank budget for in-season moves. The GMs who keep money for mid-season signings beat the ones who spent it all on day one.

How to book a weekly show that scores

A strong week is varied, advances rivalries, and protects stamina. A weak week is the same headline match every time until the crowd stops caring.

The shape of a good card

Vary the card every week: a tag match, a submission or stipulation match, a multi-competitor match, a rivalry split, and a clean singles match. Variety itself scores — and it keeps every wrestler from being booked into the ground.

Run-ins and interference

Use run-ins to push rivalries that already exist — never to start a new one out of nowhere. A run-in on an established feud raises its heat; a random run-in just confuses the crowd.

Stamina is a hard limit

Wrestlers drain stamina per match and recover with rest and promos. Book a low-stamina wrestler into a high-drain stipulation and the match underperforms. Rotate: two weeks on, one week off for your workhorses.

Save the premium stipulations

Hell in a Cell, TLC, cage and "I Quit" type matches are PLE blow-off material. Spending them on a random Tuesday wastes their rating ceiling and leaves nothing to pay off the feud.
